Many psychosomatic physical ailments and their conditions begin to diminish or cease altogether through regression therapy. The result is often a dramatic change in the world of the client and improvement in their sense of well being. (D) SPIRIT RELEASEMENT THERAPY (HYP 401)
Requirement: Pre-requisite HYP 101 or see Section (G)-Previous Qualifying Education or Experience (Section G Below) Theories and techniques (54 contact hours plus 80 hours outside class room)
The possibility of spirit possession, that is, takeover by a discarnate (deceased) entity, has been recognized, or at least theorized, in every time and in every culture. A disembodied consciousness seems to attach itself and merge fully or partially with the subconscious mind of a living person, exerting some degree of control on the behavior, the mental functioning and emotions, as well as producing sensations and symptoms in the physical body.
At the time of death a soul may become disoriented and not follow the normal pathway of moving into the Light. The soul may become attached to a living person, creating a variety of difficulties and symptoms. An attachment can be benevolent in nature, completely neutral or self serving to fulfill a personal need of the spirit and/or malevolent in intention
Students will learn holistic and compassionate hypnotherapeutic approach to freeing those who have become so attached, and freeing the clients who have been affected by them.
Reincarnation, Spirit Possession Syndrome, and Multiple Personality Disorder will start the class off. Recovery of soul fragmentation and Spirit Releasement therapy will involve discovery of ”Attachments”, differential diagnosis and entity treatment. Extraterrestrials and demonic beings will lead the group into removing perceived entities, counseling, and self-protection as well as other methods of clearing the past.
Most investigators in the field estimate that over 70% of the population are affected or influenced by one or more discarnate entities at some time in their lives. Historically, the treatment of spirit possession has been primarily in the hands of the shaman, medicine man or clergy.
Our language reflects an inner knowledge of this condition: What got into you?” “What possessed me to do that?” “I’m not myself today.” “I had a shattering experience.” “I’m just falling apart.” “I lost part of me when that happened.” and similar problems. The properly trained therapist will recognize that some problems are caused by what is perceived to be an attached spirit of a deceased human being. This condition has historically been labeled Spirit Possession.
The treatment consists of guided imagery and hypnosis to discover and identify the attached spirits, making a differential diagnosis, having dialogue with the attachment, releasing the attachment and ongoing therapy for the client.
(E) MENTORSHIP ON THE JOB TRAINING (HYP 501)

The primary purpose of the Internship program is to provide the hypnotherapist with the opportunity to gain supervised clinical experience.
(F) ABDUCTION PHENOMENA (HYP 601)
Requirement: Pre-requisite HYP 101 or Previous Qualifying Education or Experience (Section G Below) Theories and Techniques
On behalf of those people who perceive they have been in contact with or interfered with by Beings of other than human origin, it was stated at a symposium at the Harvard Medical School that no mental health professional has to believe it is real, but must be prepared to treat a client that believes it has occurred.
Due to the statistical numbers, eventually that particular client will come. If unprepared, it can be a further disaster to the mental health of that client.
This is a highly specialized area and those with an interest about training and or treatment can contact James at the numbers below.
